3. Abstract
• In this project based research and effort has been made to explore the
different aspects of Online Sales Management along with Management
Information System. Various dimension of the scope of sales related service
Management System have been studied in this project. Initiative has been
taken to explore the field where competent management can comply
properly.
• The key task of this project is to be sensitized and familiarized with
management concepts and its effect on Sales Management System of
relevant company. In this project it has been tried to build a uncomplicated
multidimensional Database Management system. It has also been tried to
make an analytical processing cube with a view to illustrate how to utilize
Sales Management System Software.

• First of all I would like to express gratitude to creator the most Merciful &
Beneficent as the holy entity made it possible to complete the project
successfully. I acknowledge the guidance and immense support of the
supervisor Professor M. Johirul Islam,Phd.Director of IICT in SUST .His
continuous cordial support ,advice and inspiration helped the others
coordinators and my favorite teacher Dr. Ahsan Habib sir in completing the
research work and in writing it .
• He went through every necessary point to the study to give the right
direction. It was a great leaming session for all the members of related task
to know how to conduct a research and write it from the Supervisor. Without

6. Case Study
• Objective: To analyse, design and develop an Online Sales Management
Information System for Wires & Cables SMS by analysing the following
information.
• Introduction: Wires & Cables SMS has been incepted as a sales
management system by share upcoming 2022 with a view to delivering the
best quality Electrical Wires and cables in a dynamic electrical network. It is
a quality -focused sales management system that is committed towards
providing high grade electrical cables and wires. Quality, safety and
Reliability have always been Wires & Cables SMS main strength.

We are dedicated to the delivery of quality products which are designed and
manufactured to the highest international standards.
We aim to build long term relationship with our customers through provision of
quality product and excellent services. Our business development and sales
teams closely work with the customers to understand their product requirement
and assist them in selection right product.

• Product Information: We are marketing numbers of product specially
cables .Each product / item have a unique id number and also have
catalogue, some of items are considered as a set of size. We have a pre-
calculated costing for each item and also selling price each of the item
which can’t be modified at any level except the top level admin.But there is
provision of discount on sells for the clients against a single order, if the
total amount of sells is more than 10 lac then rate at discount 10 to 15% or
higher depend on MRP value and if it is less than one lac no/minimum
discount will provide. A certain amount of quantity of each item or cable
size wise should always be reserved in our stock. If any order places
against specific cable, the quantity of which is not available in the store, in
that case we are capable it available in the store with 7 to 15 days after
confirmation of the order.

• Client Information: We are enlisted all kind of client list through our online
process. Through online process of enlisted clients are capable to place the
order online by email/or system. If any new client is interested to purchase
any items of cables from us, the client will have to fulfil the criterion for
enlisted as an authorized admin of us. We are maintaining all possible
information about their clients.

• Order/Delivery Information: Sales or admin personnel used to maintain a
pre-design order online form which includes name of company, cable type,
cable size, quantity, client information and delivery date etc. During delivery,
the sales management team also maintains a record and all issue a delivery
challan for the shipments of size.

• Employee Information: The admin maintain all the information relating to
an employee i.e, personal information according to the rules of the admin
panel. All the activities of admin maintain online/offline. In consequence
,admin is suffering from many problems. Therefore, the admin decided to
automate or computerized the Online Sales Management Information
System where the product information, client information, orders
information, delivery information etc. Are to be computerized to improve the
performance of the admin for better access to information, prompt efficient
services for the clients which will lead admin of system authority to earn
more revenue.

google+ etc.
