Urrrgg! My stomach growled, like a bear, when my mom told me we were going

to go to a big Applebee’s in Ann Arbor, Michigan, after this volleyball tournament was

done with. When the tournament was over with, we were on our way to the restaurant.

When we got there the girl asked how many people we had, grabbed the menu’s, and

took us back to our seats.

On our way back to our seats I saw this guy that I had recognized from the

football game the night before. I decided to go ask my dad who it was because it was

really starting to bug me. He told me it was Braylon Edwards, he was a great football

player who played for the Cleveland Browns. Braylon was eating dinner with two other

guys.

Right when I saw him I was really anxious to get his autograph. My friend, John

Nocella, and I kept bugging my parents to let us go up to him and get his autograph and

meet him, but my parents thought it was rude to interrupt his dinner for some two little

kids. John and I were so bummed. But, we were still excited that we got to see the tall

6”5 man.

The next day at school we told all of our friends and they couldn’t believe it!

They thought it was so amazing. Of course everyone asked why didn’t you get his

autograph? Every time we had to explain to them “our parents wouldn’t let us”!

Well as it ended up, we didn’t get his autograph, but at least I thought it was

really sweet to see him. Have you ever meet or seen a celebrity? I hope you do because it

is a really cool experience.
