Make sure that the book you read is based on the times that we are studying this year (1900-2000) Topics we will cover:  World War I, II and the Cold War Empire (the end of the British Empire, Ghandi especially) Ordinary peoples’ lives in Britain after World War II Immigration: immigration to Britain after World War II especially those from the West Indies South Africa and Nelson Mandela
