1. Purpose in life
Aimless life is certainly a sin. Many people have no definite aim in life. They are like the
travelers going a head without any destination. Such people lead an aimless life and what they
do in life, is largely a matter of chance, determined by the circumstances in which they happen
to be placed. Aimless people do not achieve any thing in life. They just live because they have
to live. One should have a definite purpose of life. The people who want success in life, first of
all, determine their target. They keep before them their circumstances, their virtuous, their
qualities, their talents and their ability to work. They select some definite target of their life and
remain successful.
Different people have different aims in life. Some aim at wealth, some at power, some at fame,
some at business and some at education and knowledge. My aim is neither wealth nor fame. I
wish to serve by country with best of my talent. I love Pakistan and I really believe that every
body should think to make it a really great country. I want to become a doctor. It is a noble
profession. In medical line, there is much more scope of service. On cen serve the patients
every where in the country. This is my personal choice. My parents have compelled me to select
it. I wish to become a very successful doctor in future. So I am studying hard to achieve my
target. I have keen intrest in medical line, so I do not feel any trouble in strudying at all. After
obtaining the medical degree, I plan to work in rural areas where there is much shortage of
doctors. My father is well off man and I do not have any financial problem. I do not have the lust
of money. I will go to the rural areas and shall help the poor people. I would be best sort of
service. This will give me extreme satisfaction and that is the aim of my life.
I know, my profession is very dignified and it will help me to get peace and satisfaction in life. It
provides you best chances of service. Sympathy to human being is the sympathy to one own
self.
… For becoming a successful man, one should have a certain aim in one's life. A man without
aim is like a rudderless ship in a stormy sea. The aim of an individual should be noble and good
to shape his career in the later part of life. Without a right or aim right choice of profession the
problem of bread cannot be solved. In addition to this the purpose of birth will be defeated
bringing penitence unto him.
As an individual, I have certain needs to fulfill but simultaneously I have an aim to serve my
countrymen. The best service I can render to my countrymen is by becoming a doctor of good
repute.
Undoubtedly it is a humanitarian profession. In Hindu philosophy a doctor is adjudged as
second god. I have a great aptitude for the study of medicine. The study of medical science is
for the benefaction of mankind. By studying the art of healing I can cure diseases and fight
against death.
In my view it is nobler than any other profession. In my country there are limited opportunities
for the study of medicine. Its opportunities should be enlarged for the better service of the
human race.
The number of doctor is limited keeping in view the population of our vast country. The state
helps for the extension of hospitals. There is a great want in the field of well-equipped
laboratories. Laboratories are of immense necessity for research works for different systems of
treatment.
Many new diseases are spreading in India an account of the lack of research work. There are
malaria, TB diseases, cancer, brain fever, asthma and blood pressure. The number hospital
should be increased for facilitating the cure of such diseases.
India is a land of villages. There is lack of trained doctors in village areas. I shall try to be a good
doctor. I have a great weakness for rendering, services to the members of the society such as
nursing the sick. I shall

2. Try to spread education among the illiterate ones for sanitation and keep the people aware of
the environmental pollution. I have a weakness for technical education. I have been well trained
in practical art and science.
I have a good scientific basis. I shall try to produce the best of medicines with the least expense
and shall try for their serving at the cheapest rate.
As a doctor, I shall serve the people sincerely without being a money-monger. I want to be a
doctor like Dr. Bidhan Chandra. I shall work for the development of health care of the village
people of my country. I shall try for the betterment of people.
I shall stick to the profession with tenacity without wavering. I shall not lose my heart if I cannot
progress at the start. I shall have faith in myself and I shall apply myself to the task. My honest
efforts must reward me with success.
Now I am preparing for the medical entrance test. I come of a well to do family and I feel, I must
do the right thing in the right moment. If at all I am given an opportunity to study medicine I shall
spend the life in the realisation of the lofty ideals.
… Many people ask themselves this question. And most of the time they get an answer based
on a religion. Because this is the only explanation that people seem to find. If they don't have an
answer to the question then it must be God. With God you can explain everything. Why am I
poor and lazy, because of God? Why does my wife cheat on me, because of God? Why am I
ugly, it must be God? OK I kind of agree with this last one. No I am just joking.
But actually the answer is very simple and it is not god. We are here to follow the rules of
nature, or our animal instinct. Because that is what we are, just a kind of animal called human.
People will say right away that we are not animals because we can think and animals can't.
That is of course a very poor explanation. We can think and make decisions because this is our
tool to survive in this world. The bird can fly and we cannot. The dog can smell much better than
we do. The giraffe is much taller than we are. The monkey can climb in trees much better than
we do. This is their tool to survive. Because we can think does not make us any better than
other animals we are only different.
We are actually the worst kind of all animals. We kill for joy; we kill each other in the name of
God. We hate, we envy, we etc. Anyway that is another story.
Now that we are at the same level with all other animals I can start to explain the purpose of life
.There are three phases in the life of any living species. First survival, second have children and
third taking care of the children until they can take care of themselves. Then the children can do
the same as their parents did. That is the whole purpose of life "CONSERVATION OF THE
SPECIES". And the process goes on and on.
