Purpose in life
Aimless life is certainly a sin. Many people have no definite aim in life. They are like the
travelers going a head without any destination. Such people lead an aimless life and what they
do in life, is largely a matter of chance, determined by the circumstances in which they happen
to be placed. Aimless people do not achieve any thing in life. They just live because they have
to live. One should have a definite purpose of life. The people who want success in life, first of
all, determine their target. They keep before them their circumstances, their virtuous, their
qualities, their talents and their ability to work. They select some definite target of their life and
Different people have different aims in life. Some aim at wealth, some at power, some at fame,
some at business and some at education and knowledge. My aim is neither wealth nor fame. I

obtaining the medical degree, I plan to work in rural areas where there is much shortage of
doctors. My father is well off man and I do not have any financial problem. I do not have the lust
of money. I will go to the rural areas and shall help the poor people. I would be best sort of

I know, my profession is very dignified and it will help me to get peace and satisfaction in life. It
provides you best chances of service. Sympathy to human being is the sympathy to one own
… For becoming a successful man, one should have a certain aim in one's life. A man without
aim is like a rudderless ship in a stormy sea. The aim of an individual should be noble and good
to shape his career in the later part of life. Without a right or aim right choice of profession the
problem of bread cannot be solved. In addition to this the purpose of birth will be defeated
bringing penitence unto him.
As an individual, I have certain needs to fulfill but simultaneously I have an aim to serve my
countrymen. The best service I can render to my countrymen is by becoming a doctor of good
Undoubtedly it is a humanitarian profession. In Hindu philosophy a doctor is adjudged as

for the benefaction of mankind. By studying the art of healing I can cure diseases and fight
In my view it is nobler than any other profession. In my country there are limited opportunities
for the study of medicine. Its opportunities should be enlarged for the better service of the

Many new diseases are spreading in India an account of the lack of research work. There are

Try to spread education among the illiterate ones for sanitation and keep the people aware of
the environmental pollution. I have a weakness for technical education. I have been well trained
in practical art and science.
I have a good scientific basis. I shall try to produce the best of medicines with the least expense
and shall try for their serving at the cheapest rate.
As a doctor, I shall serve the people sincerely without being a money-monger. I want to be a
doctor like Dr. Bidhan Chandra. I shall work for the development of health care of the village
people of my country. I shall try for the betterment of people.
I shall stick to the profession with tenacity without wavering. I shall not lose my heart if I cannot
progress at the start. I shall have faith in myself and I shall apply myself to the task. My honest
efforts must reward me with success.
Now I am preparing for the medical entrance test. I come of a well to do family and I feel, I must
do the right thing in the right moment. If at all I am given an opportunity to study medicine I shall
spend the life in the realisation of the lofty ideals.
… Many people ask themselves this question. And most of the time they get an answer based
on a religion. Because this is the only explanation that people seem to find. If they don't have an
answer to the question then it must be God. With God you can explain everything. Why am I
poor and lazy, because of God? Why does my wife cheat on me, because of God? Why am I
ugly, it must be God? OK I kind of agree with this last one. No I am just joking.
But actually the answer is very simple and it is not god. We are here to follow the rules of
nature, or our animal instinct. Because that is what we are, just a kind of animal called human.
People will say right away that we are not animals because we can think and animals can't.
That is of course a very poor explanation. We can think and make decisions because this is our
tool to survive in this world. The bird can fly and we cannot. The dog can smell much better than
we do. The giraffe is much taller than we are. The monkey can climb in trees much better than
we do. This is their tool to survive. Because we can think does not make us any better than
other animals we are only different.
We are actually the worst kind of all animals. We kill for joy; we kill each other in the name of
God. We hate, we envy, we etc. Anyway that is another story.
Now that we are at the same level with all other animals I can start to explain the purpose of life
.There are three phases in the life of any living species. First survival, second have children and
third taking care of the children until they can take care of themselves. Then the children can do
the same as their parents did. That is the whole purpose of life "CONSERVATION OF THE
SPECIES". And the process goes on and on.
What Is My Purpose in Life
What is my purpose in life is a question asked by many people as they ponder the reasons
for their existence. Life is the expression of the Reason for being. The Reason represents
the intelligence that is within all things. For example, it is the power within a seed, when
planted in the garden, grows step by step to the fulfillment of its reason for being.
Everything has a purpose, a time and a season. Autumn is a wonderful example of the
fulfillment of many plants as we enjoy the abundance of fruits and vegetables that are
harvested at this time in the cycles or seasons of life.
The real you is your inner purpose. When you took your first breath of life, you became a
living being. The time of birth determines the quality of the power within you and reveals
your purpose in life. Kabalarians call that purpose the birth path.
The purpose indicated by the birthpath consists of qualities to be developed through one's
thinking, the ideals to be accomplished, and success to be made. Are you inherently
inspirational or practical? Find out now!
To calculate your birthpath, add the month, day, and year and reduce the number to a
single digit between one and nine.
Birth date: November 12, 1975
11 + 12 + 1975 = 1998
1 + 9 + 9 + 8 = 27
2 + 7 = 9 birthpath
A person born November 12, 1975 is a 9 birthpath.
Whether your birthpath expresses depends upon your names, for the names creates your
personality and is the compelling force. The birthpath is only the potential until understood
and expressed through a mind harmonized to that potential.
What is your birthpath? What is the real YOU?
The 1s seek to understand the fundamental laws of life. They are inventors and explorers
and they are naturally ingenious along practical lines. They learn through their own
experiences. In work they are happiest in positions in which they can give orders instead of
take them, and where their independence is not curtailed. They are self-reliant and strongwilled--the qualities of a leader.
The 2s are the peace makers and diplomats. Their role is to meet and mix with people, to
understand others, and to help people in the solution of their problems. The 2s are sensitive
and intuitive. They can develop a wonderful way of using words to bring the best from
others. They must understand and merge points of view to create appreciation for
Self-expression is the 3s' keynote. They excel in vocal expression, public speaking, art,
drama, or as entertainers, humorists, and promoters. Their role is to use the power of the
word to inspire and lift others to see a happier, objective perspective of life. The 3's are
congenial in association and cosmopolitan in nature. They have a love for all people and
desire to help others.
The 4 quality is technical and scientific. It brings into being a very systematic, technical,
stable, patient, and scientifically analytical nature. The 4s seek an understanding of life,
delving into matter and form, searching for the secrets of nature in materiality. The keynote
of the 4 is practicality; and their duty is to find a basic principle governing matter and form.
They make excellent teachers, researchers, and computer experts.
The 5 quality represents change--a step above the technical phase. The 5s must seek a
definite spiritual principle and apply it; thereby developing the intellect and seeking new
ideas, new meanings, and theories, to bring improvement to life. The 5s tend to champion
the less fortunate. They are quick thinkers, always searching for truth and the reason for
things. As they love change, travel, and new experiences, they should not be placed in
positions requiring detailed, monotonous routine. They love to sell and promote.
The 6 represents maturity and responsibility; it is the role of assuming responsibilities for
humankind, to help others in the solution of their problems. The 6s have the mental
quickness and the analytical ability of the 5, but without the 5's restlessness and
impulsiveness intensity. They desire to care for others. Their love is universal, with an
intense desire to serve. They carry responsibility better than any other quality and make
good managers, nurses, and doctors.
The 7 quality represents the thinkers and writers. 7s must learn to tune their minds to
harmony and balance for receiving impressions from within to develop their depth of
knowledge of the deeper aspects of life. Their keynote is placidity. The 7s deeply appreciate
the beauties of nature; they delight in mystery and are naturally drawn to philosophy and
the occult. They should spend time in meditation and reflection, and write down their
thoughts. They can develop great powers of concentration.
The 8s role is to demonstrate the spiritual law in service to humanity through justice and
equality. The 8s are the born executives and national leaders, and should occupy positions
where they can administer fairness for all and work to create a just and balanced economic
system. The 8s should never be subservient to others. They seem to understand people and
have the ability to direct others and to hold positions of great responsibility.
The 9s are born to serve others along the path of wisdom as spiritual leaders and teachers.
They are very sensitive and creative. Their talents are many and varied, covering the
inspirational vocations or in business where they have the opportunity to be of service to
people in some way--in charitable institutions, hospitals, or in education or law, in drama,
music or art. The 9s are charming, affectionate, and respond quickly to kindness. The path
of the 9 is the highest and most inspirational, but it is the most challenging to live for theirs
is a life of service.
The Mathematical Principle of nine is a spiritual law which can be found, although hidden in
symbology, in all ancient spiritual writings and concepts.
Our purpose is understood through knowledge and application of the Mathematical Principle.
Our purpose becomes clearer as we understand the relationship of the individual to the
How do I find my purpose? Does such a thing really exist? Why don’t I know my purpose in life? Being
on purpose is what the most self-actualized people accomplish on their life journeys. But many individuals
feel little sense of purpose, and may even doubt that they have a purpose in life.
