Things began well
She never saw it coming
Whispers followed her everywhere she went
Eyes stared at her
Her every move was watched and scrutinized
She didn’t have the heart to believe the rumors
She ignored the knives that he made her walk through
His words stung but his love stayed strong
She never saw it coming
She could only feel for him
Her heart only beat for him
Each breath was for him
Nothing though was given in return
