Man can over come any adversity or
challenge with persistence and
perseverance if you never quit or give up
no matter what others say – Chris Corbin
 I have several learning disabilities some
organic some caused by head injury.
 1. Dyslexia
 2. Attention Difficulties
 3. Coordination Problems
 4. Dysgraphia
 5. Executive Functioning
 Dyslexia is a learning disorder involving
language processing like
spelling, reading, writing and even speaking
 1. Mozart
 2. Leonardo Da Vinci
 3. Napoleon Bonaparte
 4. Richard Branson
 5. Charles Schwab
 6. Albert Einstein
 “That the real problem
with kids who struggle
with learning…some
kids feel they are
stupid. I want them to
know they’re not. They
just learn differently.
Once they understand
that and have the tools
to learn in their
individual way, then
they can feel good
about themselves.”
 Dyscalculia refers to a wide range of learning
disabilities over Math.
 1. Albert Einstein
 2. Alexander Graham Bell
 3. Thomas Edison
 “if you thought you
had problems with
math don’t worry
about them. I can
assure you mine are
still much worse.”
 Children and adults with learning disabilities truly
are hero’s. They over come obstacles that ordinary
people do not understand. These people all have
the same traits in common they turn their
disabilities into challenges to over come. Their
determination to over come their fears. Their drive
to succeed and over come any obstacle they face.
To rise up above all the odds. To fight through the
shame and fear they face, the depression of being
different and to conquer it. They show the world
there not afraid of anything that comes their
way, that they have not jus conquered their
disabilities but the world around them.
