Malaysia is a country that has its own culture and heritage. Malaysia’s rich culture
and heritage in the society consists of different races such as Malay, Indian, Chinese, and the
others. Among the culture and heritage of Malaysia is a game, dress, marriage, ceremony and
the others. The traditional games is one than culture and heritage in Malaysia. Traditional
games already capable to shape partly from life that traveled by our ancestors. Basic
important that guarantee continuity traditional games at past time is lifestyle our ancestors.
When something games was held at village, villagers near by also visit to take part or give a
spirit. Environment activities at the field can strengthen the relationship between villagers
that take part in this activities. So, traditional games also known as the citizens games. Most
of traditional games was still played by the children until now such as congkak, wau (kite
flying), takraw, gasing (top spining), guli (mable) and etc. The culture and heritage most of
symbolize identity in one country. The teraditional culture and heritage also we to shows the
character of society in Malaysia. The culture and heritage also encourage solidarity in
country. The three traditional games in Malaysia are Top Spining (gasing), Kite Flying (wau),
and Sepak Takraw (sepak raga).
