Khanaqin

I was born in a Kurdish family in the town of Khanaqin in 1994, we became refugees in 1997 because the past dictator system wanted the Kurdish towns such as Khanaqin to be empty of Kurds by making the families leave to the south Arabian towns in Iraq and getting Arab families to our places to take over. We sold every thing we've had and ran away to the city of Suleymaniyah in Kurdistan Region of Iraq(north of Iraq) as refugees. We started from zero there, life was tough for families like us, we suffered for years with no home and no where to go, if we came back to Khanaqin we've been executed. after collapsing of the dictator system in 2003, we came back to the town of Kalar near Khanaqin in
