Re: Antony Thiodet
To Whom It May Concern,
I have known and worked closely with sports executive Antony Thiodet for 10 years.
Mr. Thiodet, based in Villeurbanne, France, is one of the most dynamic, adaptable and
creative leaders I have encountered in the industry.
Over the last 10 years, my company has worked extensively in France, Germany, Russia,
Turkey, England and Spain – the sports industry has experienced a rapid transformation
during this period, as clubs, leagues and federations have faced daunting economic
challenges in light of government austerity measures. As a result, sports must now
operate according to sound business principals, whereas in the past the industry has been
able to rely on public sector subsidy.
Adaptability and change do not come easy in the European and French marketplace.
Nonetheless, Mr. Thiodet has learned to adapt the sports industry’s best business and
marketing practices, in a French cultural and political context. As a result, he has
achieved extraordinary success in driving revenues, building brand credibility, gaining
the trust of government, media, corporate executives and fans and, at the same time,
respecting the great traditions and customs that are unique in French culture.
Mr. Thiodet is smart, tenacious and innovative, and possesses the highest level of
integrity and work ethic.
I would highly recommend him for any senior management and leadership position in the
sports, entertainment and venue development sectors.
Best regards,
Marshall Glickman
CEO
