1. Compliance Officer
Roles & Responsibilities:
Disseminating information to and educating employees regarding a broad spectrum of
compliance related topics. Analyzing the Business requirement and designing a compliance
framework and implementing the same.
Maintaining a current working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and policies as they
affect company operations through routine review of various Health Care related laws,
administration related laws, labor laws, Import and Export regulations etc
Functioning as key company representative/liaison in meetings with regarding regulatory policy;
Assessing, developing and implementing the required business policies that help the
organizations to comply with the regulatory requirements.
Providing education and training about actual, proposed, or pending legislation and regulations
that affect operations and identifying operational obstacles to compliance, and working with other
employees to identify and implement solutions
Reporting to Corporate on compliance-related matters as appropriate or whenever called upon to
do so.
Periodic revision of Corporate Compliance Program in light of changes in the organization's
needs, and in the statutes, rules, regulations, and requirements of Federal and State health care
programs.
Analyzing government and/or public policy and alerting the organization to trends and risks &
Protecting company interests which may be affected by proposed legislative and/or regulatory
issues
Academic Background and Key Experience Requirements:
Graduation & Legal Degree with around 6 - 8 years of experience handling compliance and
Legal in commercial environment more particularly in pharma environment Very good legal
acumen
Familiarity with local legal environment & FCPA regulations
A good understanding of Pharma Business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Clear, concise and persuasive writing and presentation skills
Strong orientation to deadline and details
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and congenially with employees at diverse
Capable of motivating personnel
Decisive and ability to exercise good judgment under pressure
Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload
English – Fluent
