2. Objectives
• The CharDham Yatra Registration and Tracking System is to register
those pilgrims who are going to CharDham.
• It is a system dedicated to gather whole sum information about the
CharDham pilgrims.
• The system is intended to verify pilgrims while they are on the way to
their destination.
• The System tracks the pilgrim via there last reached points
(checkposts).

3. Introduction
• The CharDham Yatra Registration and Tracking System is
designed for those pilgrims who come every year for darshan at Char
Dhams of Uttarakhand.
• It is an application which keep a complete database of pilgrims and
vehicle going to these places and the main key point of this system is
to track pilgrim and vehicle via last reached location.
• The origination of idea of this system has come from catastrophe
which came last year on 13th June 2013.
• The system is so set to provide a unique identification as PILGRIM
ID to each pilgrim and a YatraSlip.

4. MODULES IN PROJECT
• Administrator/Employee Login Module
Administrator module is termed to have authorization on whole System. Employee can only work on
the part from pilgrim registration.
• Pilgrim Registration and Report Module

5. MODULES IN PROJECT
The Transaction Module:
This module will be basically needed for Pilgrim Information data entry, Verification and Tracking
System.
It has four sub modules:
Pilgrim Registration: Every Pilgrim will be registered here.
Vehicle Registration: Private transport units of pilgrims have to be registered.
Verification: The verification will be done at the check post.
Tracking System: This will provide information on the basis of verification of current location status
of a pilgrim.

The Report Module:
The module provide the facility to generate the various different reports of pilgrims in terms of state
wise arrival, name wise, Country wise arrival.

The first benefit is that it keeps the record of each pilgrim and
vehicle.
It helps in identifying the pilgrim with ease via database.
Has capability to verify the pilgrims and vehicles at various
check points (check post).
Has ability to track the pilgrim and vehicles with the last check
point reached.
Major benefit this project can give in the cases of various
mishaps or in any type of calamity in areas of CharDham.
21. Future Scope of Project

Bio-Matrix can also be implemented in future phases.
Bank and Insurance detail of pilgrim can also be added for
claim achieve.
The system can also be expanded to have registration of all
personnel’s connected to chardham.
Implementation of GPS system on vehicles attached with this
system can give a real time tracking of it.
Addition of such type technology which could automatically
verify the pilgrims and vehicles in a quick go. This cloud help
in reducing the time of halt at check posts.
