 Emergency Contact
 Convenience
 Security
 If you need to call your parents a.s.a.p you can
always ask to go to the washroom and either call
them or send them a quick text
 The office isn’t always willing to let you use the
office phone to reach your parent, so why go
through with all of that when you have a cellphone
    at hand
 Having a cell phone with you at all time is
very convenient, you can reach into your
pocket and take notes on your phone
instead of struggling to get out a pen/
  pencil and paper.
 There are apps teachers allow us to use
and that are very beneficiary like
  schoology, infinite campus, etc.
 To most students having a cell phone with them is a
sense of security, it’s almost as if we are alone
    without it
 If for any chance there is bullying, harassing etc. a
student can quickly text a friend and/or adult that
will help them take action and pursue the problem
 Distraction
 Unnecessary
                (images)
 It can be a distraction out of boredom
    you can be checking your
    tweets, newsfeed on
    Facebook, shopping on Wanelo when
your actually suppose to be taking long
    dreadful notes
 If we think about it we don’t really need
a cellphone with us every single minute
of the day, we are constantly
surrounded by computers which are just
as effective, and if there were an actual
    emergency administration would have
    no problem contacting a parent
 Students should be allowed to have a
cell phone with them in class and at all
times, for security purposes. If the
teacher does not allow them in class the
students can just simply put them away
for that hour, not to hard to do.
