Candidate must have an earned doctorate and
administrative experience in medical education, specifically
as a Provost in an institution of higher learning.
The Provost reports to the President and, through him, to
the Chairman of the Board, and serves as the chief
academic officer and academic leader of the University.
The Provost is responsible for ensuring excellence in
curriculum and teaching and advising the President and
Chairman of the Board of all academic matters including,
but not limited to, strategic planning, hiring of faculty,
accreditation, faculty development and welfare, facilities
and space, students, organizational relationships, academic
policies, budget, and establishing partnerships.
