 Open up a web browser using a cell phone,
tablet, or computer.
 Navigate to: www.kahoot.it
 OR, scan this
QR code if you have
a QR reader on your
Phone or tablet.

 Navigate to www.getkahoot.com
 Choose “Get My Free Account”

 Now, you can start creating your first Kahoot!
Choose

10. Give your Kahoot a Title
 Your quiz needs a title – this can be anything.

Type your question here:
You can
add a
photo
You can change how the
question is scored here.
Type your answer choices here. Click the “incorrect” button to set
the correct answer.
Set a
time
limit to
answer

12. Saving your Quiz
Toggle between questions here:
Continue adding
questions by
clicking “Add
Question”
After you’ve added your
questions, click Save &
continue.

questions from this page,
or save and continue.

14. Sharing your Kahoot
Change your Kahoot to
be public or private (so
only those with a link
can use it)

15. You can also add a header
photo, but it’s not
required.
Click “Done”

16. Using your Kahoot in Class:
After clicking
Done, you will get
to this page.
If you’re not ready
to play, just close
your window until
you are.
If you’re ready to
play Kahoot, click
“Play Now.”

When
you’re
ready, click
launch.
From this
page, you
can choose
options for
game play.

18. Playing the Game
Students will always go to kahoot.it
The game-pin will change each time you launch the game.

19. Adding and Deleting Players
As players type the
PIN and their
nicknames, they
will appear here.
I would encourage you
have students use their
real names.
You can kick players out
if they use a nickname
you deem
inappropriate.

Once students have all
joined, choose Start Now to
launch the game.

This is
projected
on the
board/main
computer.
Students
simply see
the four
shapes &
colors.
They tap
on the
shape
that’s the
answer.

22. Checking Answers
After the time is
up, the answers
and breakdown
are shown for each
question.

23. Finishing the Game
Student names
and total points
earned show up
here.
