First, Navilas provides the doctor with full field, real-time images of the retina in all standard imaging modalities, including color, infrared and angiography modes.
The physician uses the diagnostic images to to plan treatment locations, which can then be automatically registered to the correct location on the live image of the eye. This is a critical step, as it forces doctors to have a treatment plan prior to initiating treatment against which they can judge their effectiveness.In addition, also diagnostic images from external devices such as OCT’s con be import to allow even more for the treatment planning.
