Dear Sir/Madam,
I do not know if You already have a collaboration for collections and designs but if You are looking for a new
collaboration /a marketing consultant / shirting designer / let me briefly introduce myself , my experience, and what
I should do for you.
As you can see from my CV I’m Italian and I have long experience in designing . I ‘ve been involved in suiting and
shirting designing for about 17 years. In all this time I improved my knowledge , not only on designs side but also on
technical details related to the fabric construction, and market understanding. My aim is to have a wide as much as
possible wiev of our sectors in order to understand the final consumer needs.
I’ve been employed in Lanificio Policarpo for about 9 years. The Lanificio Policarpo products are at the same level
and quality as Loropiana, Reda, Barberis Canonico, etcc. I developed my ability and I’ve been involved on the all
process, from spinning till finishing. This it gave me a wide knowledge about textile . In that time I’ve been
responsible for customers claim s and quality control too.
After Lanificio Policarpo I joined Tessitura Monti. Here I’ve been as responsible for customer special designs
programme. I had a small team and I was following nearly 70 customers every season. I ‘ve been working with
Dolce&Gabbana, Versace, Hugo Boss, Suit Supply, Thomas Pink, Van Laack, Zara, Massimo Dutti,
Mark&Spencer,Banana Repubblic, H&M. These are some just to give an ideas of the customers level I’ve been
working with.
After nearly 5 years I left Tessitura Monti and I joined Bossa Shirting Mill division located in Adana- Turkey-. Here I
covered the position as collection responsible, customers contact and marketing advisor. Thanks to my
collaboration, Bossa had the chance to compete in term of designs and quality with the best European shirting fabric
supplier as Tessitura Monti, Albini, Canclini, Testa, Val Brembana, Oltolina, Honegger.
From February 2009 till August 2011 I’ve been be free lance designer and I joined Weba Appenzell ( Alummo
Group) company located in Switzerland as consultant. With this company I collaborated in terms of designing for
customers, developing new qualities and advicing for colours trends and fashion directions. For them I did also the
marketing side for north Italy
2. From April 2011 till March 2012 still I collaborated with Donear Industries located in Munbay ( India) .
From 2009 till 2013 I had a collaborations with a Brazilian Studio Office ( Link China ) and I was doing all shirting
collection for them.
From 01/04/2012 till 29/02/2016 designer consultant for BARUCHE SKNL KUMARS Group in Mumbay.
Shirting fabric collection Responsible and exclusive designs for customers.
Set up Premiere Vision boot.
I know the European market as I ‘ve been used to work with big customers and I’m all the time updated on new
trends. I always participate to the most important seasonal trend meetings and fairs as Premiere Vision in Paris and
Milano Unica in Milano.
I work with one of the best European CAD program ( LEONARDO by Tex-in) and I can supply a complete collection
package from designs to technical info for warping, weaving and finishing.
Designs: I develop collection following the trend and market special request; I research the best
and special yarns to add value to the designs. I can design from very classic to sportive look. I
use trend colours or customers special colours depending of the targets.
fabric details: I can suggest the ultimate trend in term of “hand” of the fabrics. I’m able to modify and
adjust properly the fabric construction in order to obtain the best performance.
As I spent lots of time in all processes departments I have full knowledge about fabrics
finishing advice : this process can give the difference from good to excellent quality. My experience allow me to
recognize what the fabric need to be improved and to make the changes inside the process .
Thanks for Your attention.
Yours sincerely,
