Noise pollution from construction and new attractions in the Al Khawaneej neighborhood has negatively impacted residents' health, well-being, and quality of life. Implementing noise regulations on construction hours and using noise barriers can help reduce noise levels and associated health issues like cardiovascular diseases and sleep problems. A study in Qatar found that enforcing curfews and using audio-visual devices to limit construction noise resulted in average noise levels dropping from 64.6dB to 24dB. Residents of Al Khawaneej deserve a peaceful environment, which can be achieved through noise regulations and curfews.
