3. Direct Variation
If an increase(↑) [decrease(↓)] in one quantity
produces a proportionate increase(↑)
[decrease(↓)] in another quantity, then the
two quantities are said to be in direct
variation.
5. Inverse Variation
If an increase(↑) [decrease(↓)] in one quantity
produces a proportionate [decrease(↓)]
increase(↑) in another quantity, then the two
quantities are said to be in direct variation.
