2. Paddington
Station
Andreas Hofer
Paddington Station is one of many
railways stations in London, like King’s
Cross or Victoria station. There are 330
railway stations in Greater London!
What makes Paddington Station stick
out is not that it is more beautiful than
other railway stations or even more
important. No, it is interesting because
Paddington Bear is named after this
railway station.
Paddington Bear is a children’s story
written by Michael Bond in 1958,

3. Yamaha Music
London
If you’re a musician or even better a pianist then the
Yamaha Music store in London is a must go to place for
you! There are 3 departments, the ground and first floor for
pianos and music sheets and the basement for drums
guitars and sound equipment. You can literally try every
piano you see and there are plenty of really good and
expensive ones even Bösendorfer pianos! So if you are a
musician you will for sure know how much a Bösendorfer
can cost. And the range of music sheet is very good, it’s
the best if you play the piano but even though there are
sheets for every instrument and plenty of them! However it
is also very easy to find, it’s located in Soho, Wardour
Street, which is right about Oxford street. If you come by
tube you just have a little walk from Oxford Circus straight
down the east of Oxford Street till you see Wardour street
on your right on that corner there’s a big samsung store
and from there on only straight again. You’ll soon see the
Yamaha logo on your right. I hope you’ll like and enjoy it
there as much as I did.

Kensington Gardens in London. It became a royal
residence in 1689. It’s been the residence of the British
Royal Family since the 17th century. Now, it’s the official
residence to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The
State Rooms were opened to the public on the Queen’s
birthday, 24 May 1899. This began the palace’s dual role
as a private home to royalty and a public museum. The
palace also displays many paintings and other objects from
the Royal Collection. You can choose four different routes
throughout the palace that offer exhibits interactive
experiences, and even audio sequences that bring to life
the gathering of gowns, antique furniture, the court of
George I and II in the King's State Apartments and the life
of Queen Victoria in the rooms most associated with her.
The fourth exhibit displays selections of Queen Elizabeth's
wardrobe in the 1950s and Diana, Princess of Wales in the
1980s during their fashion heyday.

buy a range of m&m’s chocolates and
merchandise, including kitchenware,
clothing or jewelry. It even has a giant
wall of different colours of m&m’s

Andrea List
If you are in Greenwich and want to enjoy
time there, then you have to walk through
this greatful park. On the top of a hill you
have an amazing view, overlooking the
Themse, a skyscraper, call the Canary
Wharf, or for example the Millenium Dome.
On the hill you have also the chance to go
into the Royal Observatory. Through that
Observatory goes the prime meridian. In
front of the building it is marked by a metal
strip. Many tourists stand on this strip just
to make a photo. Unfortunately the entry is
not free. But if you want you can go into the
shop, which offers some souvenirs to buy.
Many tourists visit this park every year,
probably to see that building.
