Putting away: Show your computer to me each time you put your computer away. This is for your protection. That way I can tell that the computer is in good working order at the end of each class.
Computer screens are fragile and can be broken if too much pressure is applied to the screen. Always hold it by the base when moving around the room.
Flash drive—remember to eject the flash drive properly. You can do that from the bottom of the toolbar or from your file menu.
Damage—most computers stay in good working order because of the procedures that are set in place. However, if you have a missing a key or red mouse, let me know right away. If you don’t, you may be responsible for damage on “your computer.”
Your H: drive is your personal space. To access the files you must log into a computer using your unique ID and password.
C: drive is located on the hard drive of your computer. Files here can be accessed by others using the same computer. This can slow down the speed of your computer.
Flash drive: an external devices used to save files and take them with you and use on other computers.
Google Drive: files need to saved to your H: drive and uploaded to Google drive. This gives you access anywhere a computer and internet connection are available..
Lindbergh Cloud: This can be accessed from any connected device. To do this, go to the Lindbergh Home page, Students, Lindbergh Cloud. Log in the same way you do at school. You will have access to all of your files.
No Users—restart the computer—most likely many people are not logging off properly
Saving no H: drive: tell me; save to my documents temporarily, restart computer
“Limited connectivity:” check that you are connected to TRDL this is the network in my classroom. Restart
