Weekly market view
Markets extended the losses and closed below one month low as shown in
weekly charts due to weak global cues and profit booking in major stocks
and volatility was seen for the whole week due to key events such as FOMC
meet, WPI and Parliamentary sessions. Nifty future closed around the key
support of 8600 and is expected to continue the bear trend towards the
next strong support of 8500 and closing below it may support strong bears
as it will result in the breakdown of upward channel pattern. However, if it
sustains above 8650 then it may again gain strength and move towards
immediate resistance of 8720.
