2. Table Talk points on sustainability-3 minute oral presentations
 Get roster of volunteers for orientations
– May 19 and 20 ;June 10 & 11 ;June 25 , 26, & 27;
– July 8, 9, & 10 and of course Aggie Welcome
Week
 Convene to finalize talking points and oral presentations
 Tabling presentations to be 1 to 1 (or 2) usually
 Make presentations to large auditorium style classrooms
 Brainstorm other venues for presentations

3. Show YoS , Aggie Recycle, and ACPCC Web Sites
 Set up tables close to Internet connection
 Need three laptops with Internet
 Use a hub to connect numerous computers to Internet
 Set up computers as follows:
– Computer 1. Show YoS Web Site
– Computer 2. Show Aggie Recycle
– Computer 3. Show ACPCC Web Site
 Presenter verbally guides the student thru site navigation
 Student does the actual navigation thru site
 Student receives benefit of enhanced learning this way.

 Existing definition of sustainability is flexible but not
ambiguous
 Existing definition of sustainability is reasonable but not
subjective
 Existing definition of sustainability is relevant in the context
of a person's basic needs

6. Strategy for reaching students
Social Media( i.e. Texting,My Space, Facebook, Twitter,
Linkedln, etc)
Traditional on-line methods: Blogging, Chat-rooms , Forums,
Instant messaging


Student handbook/ planner(images/information/tips/URL)

High visibility strategies: chalking, tabling, class raps

Participation: focus groups, surveys, volunteering, events

