I am the oldest sister of 2 siblings. My
brother who is a lot like me in a lot of
ways and my sister who could not be
more different from me if she tried.
Over the years because of those
differences we haven't always gotten
along perfectly so I am writing this
project to show her my appreciation for
her being my sister and to show her
how proud I am of her in all that she's
accomplished.
3. Letter
Dear Boona Baby,
I made this project to show you that I love you so much and I
am soproud of you in everything you do even though I might
not always showit. I'm so glad you are doing so well in college
and loving every minute of it. You are alwaysyourself and you
completely comfortable in it and that's something I admire
about you. I can't wait to see what crazy things we get intothis
summer and the years to come. You're the greatest little sister I
could ever ask for (if this didn't already prove it) I love you
sister! :) Go conquer the world! You can do anything!
Love, Big Sis

5. From It to She...
It's March 22nd
, 1993 in Pittstown, New
Jersey. I have just come become what Mom and
Dad call a “big sister”. I'm supposed to be
nice to this thing that looks like a real
baby doll except it cries and cries all
night and I barely get sleep. What happens
if I pinch it? Oh it cries. Oops, I hope no
one saw me do that. I would this thing “I
love you from Barney so it would eat their
vegetables and put the suction circles, that
were meant to keep my bowls from toppling
over, on it's head to try to make the thing
an angel. Over the years it would play with
Barbies and dress-up, while I would play
with Legos or Thomas Tank. We would grow up
with totally different interests. It would
become a sports star in Volleyball and I
would become the awkward music geek.
Different, yes, completely and yet I learned
what it meant to be a big sister.
We shared many late night talks
throughout the years, silly traditions like
holding hand while driving over bridges, and
deep, dark secrets that Mom and Dad still
don't know about. We were there for each
other through thick and thin through every
break-up and even after fights we would make
up in 5 seconds. She became my best friend,
Remember when I said
when I pinched it, it would
cry?

6. When I tried to make my
sister an angel...we all
knew that was a task I
could not complete
7. The Best Sister!
I have the best little sister in the world! Hands
down! She's always been there for me. Even if we
fought she'd still help me out. She helped me get
ready for job interviews by doing my hair and
make-up and even shares her Reeses with me
even though she's addicted to those things. She
listens to me ramble on and on about school or
boys I like or when I got engaged she called me
in about 5 seconds flat. She has a passion for
everything she does and always thinks of others.
She spent countless nights helping me study for
tests and waking me up before school to make
sure I was ready to catch the bus on time! She's
a friend, human alarm clock, and sister. She also
played nurse when I tripped going out to the bus.
Countless bandages later I made it to school that
day because she helped! The day she helped me
do my hair and make-up
for the job interview that I
got!

So over time I realized my sister was not a person that was just in my life but
a person who was a part of my life...it was with that realization that she went
in my mind from “it” to “she” and now she goes from my little sister to my
“Maid of Honor” because I got engaged back in May and I could think of
nobody better for the job.
