This student enjoyed learning about French culture and food through the course, but struggled with vocabulary and grammar. They need to spend more time studying, doing homework, and using flashcards and Quizlet to improve. While iffy at communicating in French, the student believes they could learn better if applying themselves more. Their weaknesses are not knowing the material and vocabulary well. They advise studying as much as possible to avoid falling behind.

What I liked most about this course was that you get to learn a lot about the
French culture, and food’s and learn how to say things that other people wouldn’t
understand. I have not been doing well with the vocabulary and the grammar. Grammar
is just not my best subject even in English I am not doing to well so it’s a struggle for
me. I need to start doing more Quizlet and spending more time studying my work and
doing all my homework, and turning it in on time. Strategies that are successful for me
are extra credit, flash cards quizlet etc. In the communicating language I’m iffy not good
but not horrible. I know few words. I know if I applied myself more I could do it and learn
it better. My strengths I honestly don’t know about my strengths. And my weaknesses
are definitely knowing the material and the vocabulary. Some advice would have to be
study study study as much as you can. Do not get behind because it will hit you in the
long run! I have learned that there are definitely many differences between our two
countries!!
