1. About Lecturer
Chiu Yun Ying holds a Master of Advanced studies,
on the field of Computer Aided Architectural
Design, from ETH Zurich in Switzerland since
2013. She obtained her master of science in
architecture degree in NCTU, Taiwan. During the
period of study, she cooperated with several archi-
tects, for instance, Taipei office of Noiz and J. J.
Pan and Partners Architects & Planners. Beside
the practical architectural experiences, she works
with the artist, Wen-Shu Lai, as exhibition designer
and planner for a series of exhibitions in Taiwan,
Mexico and USA from 2009 till now. Meanwhile,
she has published one conference paper in
eCAADe 2010 and one poster in CAADRIA 2010.
Together with Evangelos Pantazis, she was work-
shop lecturer in Zürich University of Arts(ZHDK),
Switzerland and workshop organizer in eCAADe
2013, the Netherlands. Currently, she works as an
architect in Mecanoo Architecten at Koahsiung
office, and involved in the project of Wei-wu-ying
center of the arts and concept design of Kaohsi-
ung Station.

architecture. Grsshopper, a
graphical algorithm editor, is an
easy to use digital architectural
modleing for manipulating your
own sustainable design.
* The lectures will be held mostly in
English, partly in Chinese. The stu-
dents didn’t register to this course
are welcome to attend the lectures.
