Hanson Chemical is into manufacturing of Dye colors. Their dyeing center caters to servicing of wide range of customers
for dyeing leather and coated fabrics. Their products include Disperse dye, Reactive dye etc.
Responsibility:
Compare samples of desired color with standard color specifications to determine pigment required. Pigment is weighted
and appropriate mixing is done. This is a continuous process along with thinning and drying these solutions until the
mixture matches with the sample. Comparison of Dye pieces of leather or coated fabric is performed with the sample to
ensure perfect color match. Quality control of each batch of dye, coordinating the lab with the production team is also
part of my assignment.Color Spectrophotometer is used for rapid and efficient process improvement to attain good quality.
