PCB Failure Investigation
 There are three major reasons, which causes PCB Failure.Physical clearance is
too close for tolerances and something shorted out on some units. We will discuss
it below and then explain how to solve it.

1. PCB Tracks Shorting
First when pcb arrives please check positive and negative terminal using multimeter
connectivity check. If there is connectivity between those two tracks don’t solder
component on that pcb Tracks. Please check all the tracks, which have very low clearance.
If any of them show connectivity between them then mark it down.

Now if you want to remove this type of sorting then remove it using blade or scalp or any
other sharpen material. Just scratch between those track until connectivity is removed.
1. Loose Soldering
Now after soldering component if your PCB Failure is still not working then please check
solder points. If you found any of the solder just like shown in the image below. It means
it is loose solder.
To solve this problem you have to resolder that point again.
1. Small particles of metal
Whenever we are soldering component some part of the soldering wire loosen out in
terms of small particles like dust. If any of them is stuck between two track or two
terminal of IC’s or any other component it causes serious problems.
To avoid this problem always clean PCB Failure after soldering using PCB
Failure Cleaner and Brush. Apply some PCB cleaner liquid on brush and scrub it all
over the PCB it will remove this type of particles from the PCB Failure and you can start
working with your PCB.

If after applying all this fixes still your PCB Failure is not working then it is due to wrong
component, Component failure or any other serious reason. You have to check if any of
the component is producing heat or showing spark or smoke then immediately disconnect
power from PCB Failure and remove that component from PCB.
