David Ortiz is entering his tenth and final
all star game this year as he will be retireing
at the end of the season. David Ortiz first
appearance in the All Star Game was in 2004
when it was also held in california but in
Los Angeles. At the age of 40 David Ortiz is
having one of his best seasons ever. For his
carreer he has batted .286 and this year he is
batting .329 well above his career averages.

87th edition of the MLB All Star game be-
tween the American league and the Natonal
League respectively. The game will be hosted
by the San Diego Padres at Pet Co Park. The
game will be nationally telivised by FOX on
July 12th.
