current and future generation. Here are 10 simple tips to
conserve water.

3. 1. Leaking taps must be fixed immediately
2. Taps must be kept off during shaving & brushing teeth
3. To water plants you may collect water from your roof,
use fallen ice-cubes, use fish-tank water and
use left-over water from cleaning utensils.
4. While shampooing your hair turn off the tap
5. Cut down on the number of utensils to be washed

4. 6. Wash fruits and vegetables in a pan of water instead of
running water from the tap.
7. While washing hands open the tap only after you have
soaped your hand, not while soaping & lathering
8. Try to shorten your shower by a minute or two
9. Wash your pets and your car outdoors in an area of your
lawn that needs water

old water down the drain but use it to water your
trees or shrubs
