Relevant Experience
Senior Capstone Design Project Winterville, NC January 2015 - December 2015
The company that my team was assigned for the Senior Capstone Project was Roberts Company, which is a
manufacturing facility that fabricates all types of pipe spools for different industrial customers.
The team has developed a production process for fabricating pipe spools that improves production
efficiency and meets the current costumer's requirements.
The team has generated technical design project reports that describe all the work that has been done
during the projects duration including the team’s recommendation and the final outcome of that work.
Work Experience
Engineering internship at Penco Products Hamilton, NC Summer 2014
Penco Products is a company that manufactures all types of lockers including the locker parts.
I have conducted time studies during my internship on the different machines and machine operators in the
plant that manufactures all locker parts.
I have gained experience using SAP software to create Bills of Materials, which are lists of all the raw
materials, assemblies, components, and the quantities of all the materials that are used to manufacture an
end product.
Group Projects
Deck Design Project Spring 2013
The team has used Solidworks 3D modeling software to create the deck parts and assemble them together
to make the final deck.
The team has presented to the professorand other class members the deck design process that has been
applied.
Engine Cutaway Design Fall 2013
The team has used Solidworks 3D modeling software to create the parts of a small internal combustion
engine and assemble them togetherto make the final engine and then used a feature in the software that
creates a cutaway which makes it possible to see the internal parts of the engine.
Temperature Alarm Circuit
The team has designed a circuit that sets an alert if the measured temperature is not within the set
temperature range.
