WhatIF Foods was born out of one man’s pursuit to resolve our dysfunctional food system. After 5 years of R&D, the brand launched in 2020.
WhatIF Foods harnesses the power of Future Fit crops which are nutrient-rich, filled with fibres, proteins, and antioxidants, to nourish you. These crops are also drought-resistant and climate-resilient, thereby diversifying income for smallholder famers who are most susceptible to the effects of climate change.

4. Traditional farming is degrading our lands and
stripping diversity of our soil.
Only 3, out of 30,000 plants known for human
consumption, make up 60% of our caloric intake.
5. Meanwhile, nutrients are stripped out of our food and
additives thrown in for longer shelf-life.
Our food system has allowed for obesity and nutrient
deficiency to co-exist, for non-communicable diseases to
become the norm.
