I work as a clinical training manager for three days a week for a
company that manages packages of care for clients, many of these
people have complexcare needs
I am a freelance trainer for two days of the week delivering courses to
both carers and nurses. The courses I deliver to nurses are verification
of death, syringe driver training, venepuncture, catheterisation, wound
care and any others that are appropriate
I work as a nurse for six hours a week to ensure clinical skills are kept
up to date
I am an instructor in emergencyfirst aid including paediatric first aid
I have previously worked as a district nurse part time on the evening
service
I previously worked as a health visitor for many years so have a good
understanding of immunisation
I mark and moderate level 2 assignments. The subjects I moderate are
mental health awareness, health and safety level 2, medicines
management. I have written several courses.
