PROJECT
TITLE : “DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SUGARCANES CUTTING
MACHINE FOR HARVESTING”.
DESCRIPTION: The main objective of this project is to design and fabricate a farmer
friendly sugarcane cutting machine which will help them by reducing the harvesting cost and
harvesting time.
The driving power for entire mechanism was obtained using a 145 CC Bajaj Chetak engine
and the torque developed at the output shaft of the gear box is further improved using gears
of higher diameter which will develop enough force at the end of the blades to shear the
sugarcane.

in Debate competition conducted on behalf of engineer’s day celebration in
