This project report summarizes the residential interior design project of Mrs. Sunanda Bakliwal completed for her 1-year diploma program at Dezyne E'cole College. The design brief was for a house carved into a rocky, secluded mountain site for a young couple. Key aspects of the design included integrating a boulder into the living room seating, connecting the open kitchen to the living/dining spaces, and designing a bedroom with views on two sides and a bathroom with the third side. Renderings and drawings were provided showing elevations of the house, an isometric view of the sofa, and a rendered plan view. The overall project was graded 106/10 by the college.

4. DESIGN BRIEF:
A Young couple is owner of this site that is aloof of a mountain with total privacy.
Site is located at very rocy terrain totally cut off from city buzz.
The house/enclosure has been carved into the site.
Detail:
Students have to design the living, open kitchen, bathroom (open style) &2bedrooms.
The materials to be used for furniture and finishes have to be mostly / generally locally available
like stone.
LIVING ROOM:
Sofa seating (Integration of boulder which is extended into the house into the seating)
KITCHEN:
Connectivity of the kitchen into the living/dining spaces.
BEDROOM ON FRIST FLOOR:
This bedroom views on 2 sides with 3rd
side having a bathroom.
Ideas are welcome on connecting / disconnecting bedroom with toilet and two with the landscape outside.
NOTE:
NO ARCHITECTURAL changes are allowed but all kinds of hard, soft landscapes and interior ideas are
welcome.
