1. Flash Player Crashes in Google Chrome
People commonly encounter Adobe Flash Player crashes while using Google Chrome web browser.
Most of the times the problem is experienced while watching YouTube videos, playing animated
scripts, or surfing the Internet.
Check for Conflicts between Internal & External Versions
Google Chrome comes with a pre-installed version of Flash. The conflict arises when an external
version is installed for other browsers. This conflict can be avoided by disabling the internal version,
and only enabling the external one.
For Windows 8.1/ 8 and Earlier Versions:
1. Type “about:plugins” in the Address Bar window.
2. Press ENTER.
3. The page will be loaded displaying list of different plug-ins.
4. Expand Adobe Flash Player node.
5. You would find two different versions. Click the blue colored “Disable” link to the internal, in-built
version.
Download the Quick-Fix
The Quick-Fix will automatically repair your issue. All you’ve to do is download the Quick-Fix and
scan for problems as follows:

2. Turn Off the Sandbox
Sandbox, a security feature in Windows, might have caused Flash Player crashes in Google Chrome.
Turn off the sandbox feature as shown under:
For Windows 8.1/ 8 and Earlier Versions:
1. Exit Google Chrome.
2. Right click its desktop icon, select Properties from the context menu.
3. Click the Shortcut tab, and then add the following argument next to the value in the Target
textbox:
“--no-sandbox”
(Enter it without inserting any quotes)
4. Click Apply, and then OK.
Reset Google Chrome
One or more incompatible settings are affecting the way Adobe Flash Player works. Resetting the
browser might be helpful. Here are the steps to do so:
For Windows 8.1/ 8 and Earlier Versions:
1. Double click Google Chrome desktop icon.
2. Click the Wrench icon on top right corner.
3. Select Settings from the main menu.
4. Scroll down the scrollbar.
5. Click “Show advanced settings” link.
6. Scroll down again to the page bottom.
7. Click “Reset browser settings” button.
