• If an employer can’t easily find a phone number and email for you, they will move

• Pay and Location Preferences
• Be flexible with your desired geographic location, shift, and wage
• Consider that as per TWC, you must be seeking and accept, if offered, a job that
pays at least 90% of your previous wage
• Beginning with the 8th week of unemployment, you must seek and accept jobs
paying 75% of your previous wage

If you receive a notice in the mail, by email or through WorkinTexas.com
(WIT) informing you of a job opportunity, log into WIT or contact your local
workforce center as soon as possible to get the job details and to find out
how to apply.
Job postings can close within days of having been opened so it is vital that
you respond immediately.
You must respond to an alert within 14 days of the date on the notice.
Failure to act on an alert can result in a disruption of your benefits.

funds job training programs to improve the
