1. AgMagic at Baton Rouge
AgMagic is an interactive, visually stimulating environment that
links food and fiber products we use every day to the forests, field
crops and livestock produced by Louisiana farmers, ranchers and
forest landowners. AgMagic is a free event presented by the LSU

families.

2. The AgMagic Service-Learning Experience
4-H Jr. Leaders from Acadia, Evangeline and Livingston Parishes
served as volunteer educators during the 2016 AgMagic at Baton
Rouge, giving tours for elementary school students or running a
table activity that explained an aspect of Louisiana agriculture. After
learning and serving in the morning, the 4-Hers then learned about
the Louisiana College of Agriculture's Departments, Majors, Minors,
scholarships, and possible careers for the future.
