• They are durable.

• They are effective solutions to treat complex

• Braces have more force to move teeth into

Disadvantages
• There is a limitation for food as they can get stuck in and may
displace the wires.
• The Brackets may become loose
• An orthodontic brush is needed to clean between the brackets
• If regular cleaning is not done, plaques will be accumulated under
the wires
• Less attractive because of the metal show of wires and brackets.
• Regular appointments with your dentist to change or cut the wires
