Mortality from pregnancy-induced hypertension can be prevented through adequate prenatal care, regular follow-up visits, proper monitoring for warning signs like high blood pressure, coagulopathy, impending eclampsia, HELLP syndrome and headaches, and timely treatment when these signs are identified. Lack of prenatal care, irregular visits, improper monitoring, ignorance of warning signs, inadequate monitoring of complications, incorrect treatment, and lack of expertise can lead to mortality that could otherwise be prevented.
