Pharmacy is an interesting, ever-changing and continuously growing field in our
world today. An intriguing career offers the endless opportunities and challenges.
The pharmacy forces you to become of a team and working with other healthcare
providers to offer the best medical care. It also branches out into business to help
patients financially. With a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, the possibilities for my
future are exciting and motivating.
My personal interest in health care is rooted in my desire to be involved in the
improvement of other’s health, to be knowledgeable in the various topics of
healthcare, and to possess a meaningful career.
My first inclination to become a pharmacist rose out of my desire and concern for
others and the impact of life through drugs. I love to caring for others and
contributing to their well-being. I volunteer for multiple charities but have not yet
gained any work experience in the field. Through observation, personal experiences
and volunteer, I have learned that the skills I have possessed like leadership, team
player, commitment and devotion will be vital for advise and helping the patients on
non-prescription, prescription treatments and information on wellness.
I choose pharmacy because I love to help people. Being a part of the pharmaceutical
makes me feel satisfied and meaningful; and I’m also able to combine my love of
pharmaceutical with my bachelors of finance degree. I will challenge myself with
the Doctor of Pharmacy program; and in the future as I expand my knowledge, I will
have opportunities to experiences different position within the challenging
pharmaceutical profession.
