Monday through Friday, 4am – 6am. Anchored by Cam Johnson.
It’s the first live morning newscast in the Northwest…exclusively on NWCN. It’s a wake-up
newscast designed to give the earliest risers a quick jump-start to their day with the latest
news from overnight, a look ahead at the news, a snapshot of the business news from Wall
Street and, of course, the most updated weather information.

At least every 15 minutes, 24 Hours, Accurate, Up-to-the-Minute Coverage
Keisha Burns is just one of our team of top-notch weather anchors. She reports on our morning and daytime
news and also serves as a weather anchor on KING5 on weekends. Lisa Van Cise anchors our early edition
and also does weather updates during the weekday reports on KING5.
Northwest Sports This Morning
Monday through Friday, 4am to 8am. Paul Silvi, Host.
Paul is widely recognized in Seattle and the region and has been an award-
winning Sports Anchor on KING5 since 1993. He has been known for “wowing”
the Northwest for more than a decade with his enthusiastic love for sports. Paul
also hosts our half-hour show “NW Sports Tonight " show in primetime.
NorthWest News First Edition at 6am & 8am
Monday through Friday, 6am – 10am. Anchors Greg Copeland and Cam Johnson.
The 6am newscast is perfect for people who are getting ready for work and school. It offers a snapshot
of the news of the day and features weather every 8 minutes, including travel weather reports and
recreational weather outlooks. At 8am, the newscast is more interactive and highly regionalized news.
Cam and Greg will talk live each morning with anchors from our affiliates at KGW in Portland and KREM in
Spokane to get an update on the important stories from those areas. The meteorologists from those
stations will check in with a targeted local/regional forecast as well.
NorthWest News Today at 10am
Monday through Friday, 10a-7pm. Anchor Shaniqua Manning .
News continuing throughout the day with updates at :15 and :45 after each hour keep NWCN viewers on top of
all important stories in the region and beyond. We also cover important financial news keeping viewers appraised
of Wall Street happenings.

Monday-Friday at 7:00pm News, Weather, Health, Finance. Anchored by KING5’s Rob Piercy
This is the first early primetime newscast in the Northwest, especially designed for those viewers getting
home from work too late to view the local broadcast news shows . It showcases the top news of the day
from around the region, with reporters checking in from Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Boise. It repeats in
the 8:00 pm hour with updates on news and weather.
NorthWest News First Edition
Monday-Friday at 12:00 Midnight. Anchored by Dean Staley.
The perfect newscast for night owls, NorthWest News First Edition offers a complete summary of
all of the news of the day, delivered in a fast-paced fashion. The only “live” newscast at this hour
available to viewers!
Paul Silvi NorthWest Sports Tonight
Monday-Sunday at 9:30pm. Paul Silvi, Sports Anchor.
Paul is the award-winning sports anchor for KING5’s evening newscasts and brings
sophistication and experience to an already successful program. By airing the show
at 9:30 pm, it gets a jump on Fox Sports regional reports and ESPN’s Sportscenter.
It repeats at 11:30pm and 12:30am with live updates for final scores.

NWCN proudly added this KING5 favorite to our line-up several years ago. The longest running
locally produced show in the country, the show spotlights people, places and events around the
region. It runs nightly on KING5 at 7pm and the same show runs in primetime on NWCN at
9:00pm M-F and 8:30pm on Saturdays.
NorthWest Gardening with Ciscoe
Friday-Sunday at 6:00pm & 11:00pm,. Ciscoe Morris, Host.
Pacific Northwest Gardening personality, Ciscoe Morris, comes to NWCN to inform and entertain our
viewers each week. We’ve programmed and formatted a gardening program like no other on Pacific
Northwest television - a LIVE call-in show! This informal but informational format provides the ideal forum
for Ciscoe to do what he does best, answer tough gardening questions specifically for Northwest gardeners.

He has been known for “wowing” the Northwest for more than a decade with his enthusiastic love for sports. Paul also hosts our half-hour show “NW Sports Tonight " show in primetime. NorthWest News First Edition at 6am & 8am Monday through Friday, 6am – 10am. Anchors Greg Copeland and Cam Johnson. The 6am newscast is perfect for people who are getting ready for work and school. It offers a snapshot of the news of the day and features weather every 8 minutes, including travel weather reports and recreational weather outlooks.
