To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Trevor Hauenstein for over two-years, during which he worked with our team at Fitz-Thors
Engineering. Trevor has a valuable combination of engineering knowledge and hands-on manufacturing
skills, not commonly seen in student engineers today. As a member of our team, he was responsible for
system and component designs within our custom solutions. Trevor often manufactured many of these
designs in our shop, utilizing his experience in machining, welding, and general assembly. In my
experience, I have found that engineers that can design based on first-hand experience in manufacturing
often produce better solutions which can be implemented more efficiently. This is certainly a
characteristic of Mr. Hauenstein.
On a personal level, Trevor has always shown a great attitude at work and willingness to serve as part of
a team. I have witnessed many occasions where he would jump into a situation, without being asked, to
help someone else or contribute to the team effort. In every way during his time at FTE, Trevor proved
to be an honest, dependable, and extremely capable engineering team member.
I know for sure that Trevor will be successful in any field he chooses and when given the correct
opportunity, will be a valuable resource to his team. Having said this, I feel comfortable recommending
Trevor for any position he is seeking and would be glad to speak in greater detail to his strengths and
experience if needed. Please feel free to contact me directly via email or phone.
Sincerely,
Matt Fitzgerald
