A regional event for individuals of all ages and their families for
whom disability is one aspect of their lives.
disAbility Expo: Disability service-oriented organizations will set up in the gym to
provide information for people of all ages with disabilities, their caregivers and loved
ones. Come see cool tools such as assistive technology and equipment for everybody
and every ability. Fun activities, demos, and giveaways!
Walk & Roll: A few activities are weather dependent, but most can be held in one of
the gyms, so the event is rain or shine. Festive fun inside and outdoors. REL Track/
field area to include Special Olympics athlete demos; wheelchair and AmTryke
obstacle courses; courtyard area will have inflatable play spaces, face-painting, and
more. Also, at the event: Therapy Horses, Therapets, Dog Demo by Harts in Harmony,
ETMC helicopter landing in morning, a City of Tyler firetruck on display. Plan a stroll or
roll over to the Rose Rudman Trail with new friends just across the way at your leisure
or at 1PM for a group parade. Plan to picnic outside for breakfast or lunch, or try
yummy treats from an on site local food vendor.
Prize drawings will be held for attendees who register at arrival!
