3. GENERAL TIPS FOR TIPPING
Generally tipping below 15% is appropriate, when, and
only when, the server has been outwardly rude and
obviously failed in their position.

4. Generally a base 15% says ‘you did your job’. If the server has performed
beyond your standards, then 20% says ‘Thanks, that was fun’ and 25% or
above says ‘That recommendation was great! And thanks for laughing at my
not so funny joke’

6. If restaurant service is really good, leave a few more dollars. In
hotels, if you really want to express appreciation it’s best to give a
small gift from the United States (a T-shirt or hat bearing the name
of an American city or sports team).

7. In Morrocan restaurants ten percent is generous, but check to make
sure the service isn't included in the bill. In Morocco tipping is best
done quietly, perhaps off to the side. It’s best to do the furtive
handshake-with-cash-in-palm move, accompanied by a smile and a
thank-you.

8. In Brazil 10 percent is routinely included in the bill for "servico" but if you
want to top that remember that Brazilians are discreet and subtle when it
comes to business transactions. It's helpful when tipping someone not
to make a great display. You might verbally thank them, shake their
hand, and express your appreciation while handing the bills folded.

9. In Canada, as in the United States, the gratuity isn't included, so you
can tip the standard 15 to 20 percent, depending on the service.
The US Dollars are accepted as long as you use paper money, not
U.S. coins.

16. A common feature in Thailand is the ubiquitous bathroom
attendant. Some of them might even throw a towel over a man's

up to 15 percent total. When it comes to good service, Czechs get
it as they regularly serve the British market. English is widely
spoken there, and they'll find a way to make things special for you.
So tip ahead.

Hello Fellow Traveller,
Travel World Passport has been created by people hungry to discover the world. We have formed a web framework to save
travel memories. It was born out of continuous search for inspiration. While we appreciate the satisfaction exploration brings,
we have a strong conviction that the when looking for true inspiration, we often found it difficult information available online
was scattered and often inaccessible.
The most valuable and remarkable travel inspiration and information is available on travel blogs, but for those who do not
follow them on a regular basis it is hard to keep track of. Our mission is now to gather the most valuable, relevant and useful
travel content in one place, where it is indexed and easily searchable.
So for those, who are not satisfied with the way travel content is being presented online our product is a web framework to
save and digest travel information around the stories of real travelers. It provides the necessary inspiration and contains
information to start your journey. Our belief is that travel is about the feeling and the experiences, not the place. Those
thoughts and believes are reflected in all the aspects of our work. And that feeling inspires us to be free, travel and do great
things. We hope it will inspire you, too.
