What is Happening?
 Throughout NSW, QLD and WA, many victims have been found to have
experienced a sewing needle in their punnet of strawberries.
 In Perth, a elderly man has been diagnosed with a needle found in his
stomach. He was taken to hospital with stomach pains but no harm
internally.
 A young mother from WA has witnessed a strawberry sabotage situation
too. She was chopping strawberries for her son, when she found a needle
inside the strawberry.
 She also stated, ‘What if it was your child that ate the strawberry with the
needle in it. Don’t pin the strawberries!’
 Farmers and groceries are urging people to cut the strawberries before
they get eaten.
Reward
 $100,000 for victim who started the ‘trend’ to come forward.
 According to some websites a farmer did this because they got fired from
his job. He was really angry so he took his anger out on strawberry eaters.
 The brand of strawberries that produced sewing needles in them are
‘MAL’S BLACK LABEL’ - AUSTRALILAN PREMIUM STRAWBERRIES

 The police have been informed by this cause and have thought of a few
ideas which haven’t yet been exposed to the public.
 Some customers now have to meet the farmer and punnet before buying.
