2. Plot your route carefully and make sure you have backup
● Bring money for tolls (or have your tolls prepaid)
● Also bring enough money for rest stops for snacks and gas
● Use the navigation system found in your Orlando Toyota
● Make sure you have an alternate route in case of traffic, a car accident, or the
weather
3. Never drive tired
● Driving fatigue is just as bad as driving drunk
● If you feel tired, pull over (stay the night at a hotel or a friend’s house)
● It puts you and your passengers in danger
● Rest up before hitting the road
4. Be patient and keep yourself occupied
● Long rides can be boring so keep yourself entertained (without getting distracted
of course)
● Make a special playlist, listen to audiobooks, or subscribe to a podcast
● Bring books, games, and movies for your passengers
● Take snacks (being stuck in traffic on an empty stomach is the worst!)
5. Pack wisely
● Put anything important at arm’s reach (snacks, medicine, books, etc.)
● Place heavy items at the bottom of your cargo
● Never stack luggage to the ceiling
○ You should always have a clear view of the rear window
