I have had the distinct pleasure of having Victoria DelaRosa-Daniels as a student in my Media
and American Culture course at University of Phoenix (UOP) /Axia College Online. Victoria has
been a wonderful student. In order to achieve the highest grades and my deepest respect, she has
demonstrated outstanding cooperation and maintained a clear sense of purpose.
Academics at UOP are rigorous, and thus far, Victoria has fulfilled all the requirements of the
Humanities course. Success in this curriculum requires extensive research and persuasive skills.
Victoria has mastered a course which provides an introduction to the most prominent forms of
media that influence and impact social, business, political, and popular culture in contemporary
America. She has explored the unique aspects of each medium as well as interactions across
various media that combine to create rich environments for information sharing, entertainment,
business, and social interaction in the U.S. and around the world. Furthermore, Victoria has
demonstrated the ability to interact with (and therefore better understand) peers by participating
in collaborative discussions.
Because Victoria’s classmates and I hold her in the highest esteem, I sincerely recommend her as
a student pursuing an undergraduate degree at your acclaimed institution of higher learning.
