2. What did we want to do with our
game?
• A game emphasising a continuous cycle;
which in itself can represent a futile struggle.
Like staying awake for all of Games Jam.
3. Initial Concepts
• One idea was that you were a large snake, eating many, many
smaller snakes.
• It would be impossible to eat all the snakes within a certain time. So
some of the snakes would start to grow…
• Snakes you ate would be reborn soon after!
• You had to choose which targets to eat, before one of the snakes
got too big and tried to fuck you up.
• Like an inverted “Feeding Frenzy”
4. codename: “Growing Pains”
• Then we decided snakes are for losers
• A shooter where enemies grow larger and stronger
over time.
• A killed enemy respawns straight away; albeit at
normal size.
• A survival game with no “waves”.
• Even aggressive strategies will still leave some
enemies alive, eventually causing comically
oversized enemies which are stupidly hard to kill.

• Other elements in the environment will also grow
over time. Insert penis jokes here.
5. Story
• Time is broken!!
• Rolex go out of business.
• Creatures from history are evolving too
quickly, causing time paradoxes and
ripping the space-time continuum apart.
Other such sci-fi mumbo jumbo occurs.
• You have been sent back to kill everything
that moves, because you are American.
