1. For great information on Thailand, see www.ugothai.com Bed Supperclub is one of the most visually arresting clubs you will probably ever see, both on the inside and the outside. It looks like a cross-section of an airplane fuselage sitting on white legs with an entrance ramp on one side. Inside you'll find a small bar area off to the right and a large space on the left done up all in white with bed-like spaces down either side and a balcony running around three sides of the space with more seating. the middle of his room has conventional seating and there's an open kitchen just to the right of the entrance. The kitchen, by the way, produces some great food with a menu that always seems to be changing. And on weekends the menu is a secret -- literally. You pay for a set menu and then the chef surprises you with four courses. After a few minutes of serving the dishes, an LED display over hte open kitchen announces what the dish was that you were just served. And whatever it is you are served it is sure to be good. The chef is talented works hard to come up with innovative dishes. the cuisine could maybe be described as modern fusion food although there probably isn't one term that pegs it accurately escept that it's delicious. That's just one of the little twists that make Bed different. Each night there are different events in each of the bar and dining room spaces. The bar concentrates on music and the White Room, as it is referred to, has music as well as a variety of other attractions ranging from art exhibits to dance performances. There are DJs in both rooms and you'll hear a wide variety of tunes even including 80s rock. Bed seems to draw two different crowds, too. The bar crowd is what looks like a mid-20s group while the White Room patrons seem to be about 20 years older. Apparently, the old folks like the idea of lounging around and the young kids are standing and dancing. Whatever your age bracket you'll probably find something to interest you here and always bring some ID with you no matter what your age.
