SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 
As a current Federal employee with the United States Forest Service; I have worked closely with the following 
government, local, and state agencies: 
 Bureau of Land Management 
 California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection 
 Tehama and Plumas County Sheriff volunteering work and training with K-9 units 
 Search and Rescue 
 CHP and local law enforcement on numerous types of traffic and medical emergencies including 
accidents, vehicle fires, suicides, child birth, strokes, heart attacks, and deaths due to accidents. 
During these events I have been responsible as the first responder Incident Commander. As a Forest Protection 
Officer I have enforced rules and regulation on the 36 (CFR) – Code of Federal Regulations , 18 (USC) – United 
States Code, (PC) – Penal Code, and (CVC) – California Vehicle codes. 
I have written up 202 incident reports, four accident reports, six injury reports, 18 warning notices, 34 violation 
notices, and four fire investigation reports for the 2013 year. With 21 years of government and state service I have 
gained valuable experience as a leader and supervisor. 
I have had the privilege of serving in many situations that required my professionalism and ability to maintain self-awareness, 
and a level head in extreme stressful and demanding situations. As a Fire Fighter; my skills have been 
utilized in Operation Firestorm in Florida. 
I have completed numerous certifications to maintain a high level of expertise. Involvement on numerous vegetation 
fires including over 30 type 1 incidents, over 10 type 2 incidents, over 10 type 4 incidents, and over 20 type 5 
incidents. Additionally, I have participated in 18 prescribed burns for fuels reduction in urban interfaces and 
ecosystems management projects.
